The Feast Of The Goat – Mario Vargas Llosa

The Feast Of The Goat - Mario Vargas Llosa

The Feast Of The Goat - Mario Vargas Llosa

Who bought it: Me.

What is it: It looks like a political and historical novel. Trujillo, anyone? It reminds me of The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao.

When: September 24, 2011

Where: Book Sale – Alphaland South Gate Mall

Why: I still haven’t figured out which among Llosa’s work is his magnum opus, but having seen this latest edition at regular book stores inching near almost four times as the price that I bought it for, I think it is a pretty good catch. And it looks and smells and feels so new that all it needs for it to be properly new is a plastic cover that regular book stores wrap their books with.

How much: Php 145.00
